Casey Cortney

Casey Cortney, DPT, Owner

Dr. Cortney has been a licensed physical therapist and has served the Sidney, NE community and surrounding areas since 1995. Casey is the founder and owner of SRWC. She graduated from Chadron State College in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry and from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995 with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Recently in 2016 Casey achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, Missoula.

Casey is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Private Practice Section of the APTA, and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association. Casey is a current board member of Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce. Casey has special interests and advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation including manual therapies, women's health services including incontinence and post-mastectomy rehabilitation, myofascial release, and wound care.

Outside of the clinic, Casey enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering for local civic organizations and boards, and being involved with her church.


Jessica Hurt, Office Assistant

Jessica Hurt has a vast background in administration, computers, graphic design and customer service. She grew up in Sidney, NE and graduated from Sidney High School. After leaving for several years, Jessica moved back to the area and settled in Dalton, NE where she lives with her husband and two boys. Jessica is involved in the community serving in several organizations including the Dalton Fall Festival committee, Leyton Elementary PAC, Cub Scout Treasurer, and Cub Scout leader.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, crafting, and entertaining. Jessica thrives in her position with SRWC as it allows her to apply many of her skills on a daily basis.
