Casey Cortney, DPT, Owner
Dr. Cortney has been a licensed physical therapist and has served the Sidney, NE community and surrounding areas since 1995. Casey is the founder and owner of SRWC. She graduated from Chadron State College in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry and from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995 with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Recently in 2016 Casey achieved her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana, Missoula.
Casey is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Private Practice Section of the APTA, and the Nebraska Physical Therapy Association. Casey is a current board member of Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce. Casey has special interests and advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation including manual therapies, women's health services including incontinence and post-mastectomy rehabilitation, myofascial release, and wound care.
Outside of the clinic, Casey enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering for local civic organizations and boards, and being involved with her church.
Cassy Wood, PTA
Cassy was born and raised in Peetz, CO on her family farm. After graduating high school, she attended NJC where she earned her Associates of Science degree. Cassy then attended Colby Community College where she graduated in August 2018 with her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree. She is now licensed in both CO and NE. Cassy is excited to have her career close to home with Dr. Casey Cortney and staff at Sidney Rehabilitation & Wellness Clinic in Sidney, NE. Cassy has been treating patients at SRWC since 2018.
Cassy has one son, who keeps her busy with his activities. Cassy enjoys running and being active in her church and community.
